Webtoon adaptations are pretty easy to find in Korean dramas. Yet some Webtoons haven’t yet been turned into K-dramas. Here are some Webtoons that we think would make the perfect K-drama!

Webtoon adaptations can become a bridge between K-drama watchers and Webtoon readers. Just like how exciting it is to see your favourite novel get a live adaptation, Webtoon readers feel the same. So, if you’re a fan of both, then you might be on cloud nine!

Many Webtoon readers find themselves wondering which of their favourites will soon get adapted—exactly what we are thinking right now. So we let our imaginations run wild and picked out a few of the most loved Webtoons that we would love to see be adapted to K-dramas.

Romance 101

Romance 101 is a romantic comedy Webtoon by Namsoo, a Korean cartoonist who loves rom-coms, and so do we! It tells the story of BaReum, a well-organised girl who has everything planned, from studying to eating. But her planner needs a space for one more thing... dating.

That is, until she meets Shin JaeHyun, her best friend’s co-worker, and figures out that he has to be the one. So she strives to make him notice her and be someone more to him. To do so, she joins the same programming club as JaeHyun. There she meets JaeHyun's best friend, YuYeon—a carefree spirit who also catches feelings for BaReum. Will BaReum be able to choose between the two?

This Webtoon is so sweet that you’ll undoubtedly fall in love with it. It has that K-drama kick to it with soft moments, hardships that are very close to reality, and lots of laughter! Many fans wish this Webtoon would be adapted, suggesting Cha EunWoo play JaeHyun, Lee DoHyun Na YuYeon and Kim Yoo Jung as BaReum.

The Password is 002

Another soft rom-com at the table is The Password is 002. This Webtoon would certainly make a refreshing high school K-drama. The Password is 002 is written by PADO, and is one of the latest comics that has grabbed our attention already.

It follows SuJeong, a high school student with a huge crush on her classmate Do-Jin. One day she runs into him outside of school, but he fails to recognise her. Devastated, she hides in the locker room, where she meets DoJin's brother JaeHyun. JaeHyun offers to help her, but will DoJin notice her? If so, can they become something special?

If you think this Webtoon sounds predictable, you’re wrong. It’s impossible to expect what happens next, and that’s one of its many charms—another reason why it can be adapted into the perfect K-drama.

Devil Number 4

There are many great fantasy K-dramas with supernatural beings and human romances. Many of these hits include Guardian, My Demon and Tale Of The Nine-Tailed. Devil Number 4 was written by jangjin and illustrated by wycombe and its adaptation would fit perfectly alongside this list.

Devil Number 4 tells the story of a high-ranking demon, Number 4, who has to make contact with humans and take their souls. He meets Yoon Hannah and wishes to make her his next target. But she refuses to sign the contract, even after he promises her everything she wants.

Devil Number 4 gives us a charming and mischievous demon protagonist, and who doesn't love that?

We would love to see all of these Webtoons as K-dramas. They’ve entertained us as comics with gripping storylines and amusing characters, and they also share similarities with our beloved K-dramas.

What do you think? Do you agree or have any other Webtoons in mind? Let us know in the comments below.
